Leeds Foundation promotes and aims at establishing a teacher training college unique of its kind that is Leeds Training College in Patna, Bihar. It is situated in the heart of Patna surrounded by peaceful lush green environment.
There has been regular modification in the fields of education. With the changing scenario the concept of ‘Gurukul’ is no more is existence. In modern time the demands from the teacher is more & more. Now a days, a teacher’s responsibility doesn’t confide to the books only a teacher is responsible for the all round development of the student so that he or she can fit into the continuously changing society structure well. Today’s demand is not a qualified teacher but a professionally trained qualified teacher who can really groom the students in all aspects of life. In the year 2016 Leeds Training College was born with the mission of creating the new generation of enlightened “Teachers” so that they can bring honour & glory to the Academy & the nation as well.

The College is to provide courses of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) with an intake of 50 candidates in each.
Our Objective
- To enable the prospective teachers to understand the nature, purpose and spirit of secondary education as well as primary education.
- To impart quality education with all facilities at affordable fee to everyone indiscriminately.
- To develop amongst teacher an understanding of the Psychology of the students.
- To train the prospective teachers to acquire competencies relevant to transaction of curriculum and evaluation. It enables the teachers to make pedagogical analysis of the subjects at the secondary stage.
- To enable the teachers to develop faster creative thinking among student and communication skill and use of modern information technology at the secondary stage.
- To provide impetus for development of teaching and learning situations in the class room among the trainees through simulated teaching.
- To create an atmosphere to build self motivation well integrated character of the trainee so that they may take leadership in all school activities and in community.
Above all the college provides facilities to develop professional potentialities of the trainees.
In the light of the above objectives the curriculum for the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. course includes theory, practice teaching and contains practical an lab based subject/ case study an non-lab based subjects, micro teaching, action research achievement test, pedagogical analysis, simulated teaching community outreach/field survey, co-curricular activities, preparation of TLM and computer application successful completion of the D.El.Ed/B.Ed. course in an essential pre-requisite for becoming a perfect teacher.
